We had a blast at our Back-to-School Party 08-30-08

Special Thanks ...

Greenforest Brotherhood Choir

The Brotherhood Choir paid for all the food and donated an additional $243 to the tech center. They gave supplies greatly needed, such as trash cans, a new refrigerator, bricks and concrete (needed to repair the back wall of the center), but mostly they gave their time, helping to grill and set up the event.

A special apology to the men of Greenforest we ran out of film and did not get any photos of them.

Rev. Murray did a fabulous puppet show for the children, what a great party. The Star Witness members and Our Tech Center Volunteers helped to pass out the supplies and monitored the children. We eat hot dogs and cheese burgers, played games, and prayed. A wonderful day at the forest. Smile

We provided food and new school supplies to (40 - 50) children .

Only together can we change our community. Being apart of this mission movement at The Forest @ Columbia Apartments is an opportunity for you to come out and join the fight to take back the safety of our streets.

 

It's a chance for you to join forces with the GFCDC, Church, and Community Leaders to make this a wonderful place to live.

 

Our focus is on improving the lives of the residents by providing resources for your education, career, spiritual, political, and safety concerns.
